Casting Arc

2013 has been a  year full of lessons for me

Happy New Year Everyone … to 2014 – health, peace, love, happiness and tight lines that bond us so close!

Casting arc: The path that the fly rod follows during a complete cast.

Covering (or Delivery): Used to describe the action of casting the fly to a fish or into a promising-looking area of water.

For the end of year ” last blog” some of my favorite quotes and things said in 2013 some pictures and a song.

Christmas 2012 240

There are two people you’ll meet in your life.

One will run a finger down the index of who you are and jump straight to the parts of you that peak their interest.

The other will take his or her time reading through every one of your chapters and maybe fold corners of you that inspired them most. You will meet these two people; it is a given.

It is the third that you’ll never see coming. That one person who not only finishes your sentences, but keeps the book.

“if you fall here and get hurt, you’re gonna ruin all of our fishing, because we’re gonna have to stop what we’re doing and help you”

“One of the reasons I go out
of my way to be kind is that I’ve
known what it’s like
not to be given kindness.”

You are going to scare men off with all those fishing maps.

complaining will never make someone look good naked

I thought there was enough room to get through there

Let’s try tying your rod to your wrist -do you have a shoe lace?

My waders are too big

“You are enough. You are so enough, it is unbelievable how enough you are.”

If someone ever tells you a certain song is important to them you should turn it up and lay on your bed and close your eyes and really listen to it even if its 10 minutes long because at the end you will know that person much better I think
